Terms Of Service
If you are a current or prospective client, I encourage you to READ THIS IN FULL. By paying a deposit, you are agreeing to my terms of service.
Any violation of these terms during the commission process will result in a ban from comissioning me in the future.
Refunds are on a case-by-case basis. Do not expect one, but it is not off the table.
Payment
After 1 week of receiving a quote and/or being placed into the queue, a 20% nonrefundable deposit must be paid to keep your slot. The deposit will be based on the entire quote of the commission.
Payment plans are accepted, however, they must be paid at the very least in monthly increments, or paid off within 8 to 12 months of the deposit.
Suits made by PWS WILL NOT be shipped out to the client until payment is deemed completed. I reserve the right to keep the suit in my possession until payment is completed. There will be zero exceptions to this policy.
Please note suits that have been paid in full will take first priority in the worklist.
Shipping
Shipping will be an additional charge unless stated otherwise. You will be given an exact price of what was paid at the post office. PWS ships with FedEx tracked and insured, with a signature requirement at pickup to prevent theft. Because of this, please plan accordingly to pay a little more than expected to cover this. PWS can ship with a different carrier if it is requested.
All PWS fursuits will come with a care package: Balaclava, Slicker Brush, Swatch Card, Stickers, and a Character/Sona badge (upon request).
PWS is NOT RESPONSIBLE for shipping delays or damages after the package has been handed off to the postal worker. All fursuits will be packaged with care and caution and labeled accordingly.
If you have any concerns regarding your fursuit in transit or during handoff, please contact FedEx or other shipping carrier.
Additionally, I am located in Maryland and willing to do pickups in the DC/Baltimore/College Park area and near Frederick, MD. I am happy to coordinate a pickup at a halfway location, however, I ask that gas money be paid (no more than $20) to cover the cost of transportation. I request gas money be paid before pickup to ensure confirmation of a pickup. Additionally, any pickup or halfway location points will be automatically charged for gas money if the TOTAL travel time exceeds 2 hours (excluding traffic)
Warranty and Repairs
With normal wear and tear that comes with fursuits, any repairs that need additional professional aid (such as glue peeling or popped seams that cannot be hand sewn on your own), will be provided free of charge. However you must shoulder the shipping costs to PWS. This will last within 18 months of obtaining your fursuit in completion.
After 18 months an additional fee may be quoted depending on the damages done.
If the entire fursuit needs to be refurbished, whether the suit was made by PWS or not, it will be a commission in itself, and a quote form will be required to fill out before proceeding further.
NOTE that intentionally damaging the suit, improperly caring for it, and/or other hazardous activities WILL NOT be covered under the warranty.
Cancellations
Since the initial deposit covers materials costs, it will NOT be refunded should you ultimately decide to terminate your commission with PWS. Unless otherwise stated or PWS decides to cancel before any work has been done on the commission.
Please know a commission with PWS or any fursuit maker is a massive financial commitment. Do not commission PWS if you cannot definitively and consistently pay for it whether in payment plans or in full. Fursuits are a luxury, please do not commission PWS if you are struggling to pay off the suit each month. Basic necessities come first.
Completion Times / Deadlines
Completion dates cannot be guaranteed as I am only a 1-man shop, things will pop up. If an emergency arises or I am not in a working condition, I will communicate this with the client.
Additionally, to save myself extra stress and to reduce any possible rushed flaws, I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY HARD DEADLINES.
During the quote process please make a note that the suit needs to be rushed before a deadline, however a rush fee will be charged depending on what needs to be done, rush fees are not flat rate.
For the most accurate status of a project, my Trello is the best way to keep track of progress
Age Restrictions
All clients commissioning PWS MUST be at least 18 years of age. There will be no exceptions to this. If a minor would like to purchase a fursuit, all transactions should be through a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
Communication will also be between PWS and the guardian/parent, as I am not comfortable conversing with a minor UNLESS I personally know you through other outside means.
Suits made for the intentions for NSFW activities ARE ALLOWED, however, there will be an upcharge of 10% of the total cost for any serious modifications. This will be discreet between the client and maker, and will not be announced when the suit pictures are posted on social media.
Note that suits being made for NSFW activities MUST be purchased by a client over the age of 18. Absolutely no exceptions to this policy.
AI Use and Reference Sheets
All quote forms being submitted require a reference sheet that clearly shows at least a front and back view of the character. I do not care if you cannot draw well! I just need to see the character’s full body and basic color layouts.
However, if you send me a reference sheet that is clearly AI generated, I will cancel your quote and possibly lead to a permanent ban from commissioning me.
I have absolutely zero tolerance for the use of AI artworks in any transaction, this is non-negotiable.
There are lots of bases to use and purchase online from any willing artist, and those work just fine as long as I get those minimum requirements of a front and back view of the character. Alternatively, artists are happy to complete a reference sheet for you as a commission in itself!
